Having loads of accidents again

DD is in fourth month of potty training. Took ages to get the hang of it and was very 'up and down' with it. thought we'd cracked it when away for weekend in Sept - no accidents in four days, asking for toilet etc (even hanging on when on the beach and had to go and find a toilet!!). Now gone completely off again and having minimum 3 accidents per day since last Thurs which was the worst day with 6!!! She will wet her pants whilst sitting next to me. Aargh! Just venting my frustration!!

it is normal, part of the learning process, just be as patient as you can.

Take your time with children. Don't let them get excited and be gentle. Let them wear nappies for as long as they want, but give them a goal - it might be their own "grown up" bed, or it might be to go to school. You know your child and what will motivate them.

Think about why you are able to control your motions and when you go to the loo. Children are exactly the same and need to understand the muscular functions and the signals that the bladder and colon send to the brain.

She loves wearing pants as then she's like ds (alos likes wearing 'boy pants' which we have as spares - maybe that's it - ). She never has accidents out or in the car or pushchair. Maybe just can't be bothered at home as she knows she'll get clean pants/clothes?
