Congratualtions
I have a two year 5 day gap now 13 and 15.
To me it was a perfect age gap although it wasn't really planned and DD came 3 weeks early as well.
No1 isn't that far out of babyhood so you will still be changing nappies etc It's just a continuation of what you have already been doing.
The first 3 months were hard but once DD was sleeping through at 12 weeks it got a lot easier
DS was very jealous of DD but now they are teens they get on brilliantly most of the time and like a lot of the same things.
You will need a double buggy, i tried a sling and a pushchair for a week and it was awful. I used the double buggy for a year, but I don't drive and walk and use public transport when DH was at work. DS still needed to sleep in the pushchair occassionally.
Just realised that DD will be taking her gcses when DS will be taking his alevels.
I really wouldn't have changed anything except maybe of got a buggy board, but they didn't really have them when DD was born.
