My DS says he feels like a baby as for him it's lights out by 8pm. Is this early?

6.45 - he needs it!

6:45pm? Blimey, how do you manage that?

We aim for 7:30pm, lights out for 7:45pm, but we don't often hit it (general disorganisation rather than DS resistance)

Another one here- 8 yo DS has shower 7.30 - bed by 8.15 school nights. Straight to sleep most nights. Friday/Saturday/holidays bed at 9.00ish.
He gets up 7.30 am school days and whenever he wants at the weekends & holidays (usually 8.30-9.00ish). He does get tired though- usually the week before half/end of term. Think most kids do because they are ready for a rest. Grin

Bed at 7.30, a chapter of whatever book we are reading then settle down. In theory he should be asleep for 8.00pm.
