Is anyone familiar with a recording called "Everyone's Free to Wear Sunscreen" by Baz Lurhhman, which is basically advice for life for the young. I heard it recently and while I don't think it's a great recording, I like the premise. It made me think about advice I will make sure I give to my daughter,if I haven't already.
What life lessons, minor and major, do you want to communicate to your children? I'll begin ....
- Always make a mental note of where the emergency exits are.
- Never buy a hot dog from an unlicensed street vendor
- Always wear properly fitting shoes so that your feet stay beautiful (and not misshapen, like mine).
