just started cloth nappies with my 15month ds and i have a question does the outside of the nappy get wet ?

because i dont know how wet it should be i changed him twice yesterday within hour because i thought there not soaking his wee up they wernt soaking wet but just felt like a towel would feel aving drying your self after a bath brought these nappies second hand so either they should be absortant or the and on there last leg

any help a newbie cloth person

Are you using wraps?
the nappy will get wet so most people use waterproof wraps some use fleece ones.
there is lots of info here

yes... if a nappy is 'full' the whole fo the nappy is 'SOAKING', not just damp!
