I haven't voiced this to anyone before, except my husband in fear of being thrown into a padded cell, but here goes.....

Whenever it is really windy outside at night (windy enough to hear the roof tiles being lifted up) I always want to get a bag ready for my son with everything in it he'd need in case we need to get out of the house quickly (like if a tree fell on the house or something!)

I know that this is a bt irrational, but I was wondering if anyone else got a bit over anxious in extreme weather conditions?

It would be nice to know I'm not the only one awake at night trying to talk myself out starting to pack a bag! :o)

I think wanting to protect your son is absolutely normal!

And if having a bag stashed helps you sleep better, I'd go for it! No harm.

I think we can all be slightly irrational at times, its nothing to worry about. Better that than not caring.

Last night I had some pain in my left arm (prob from aerobics the previous night) and had convinced myself that I was about to have a heart attack in the night and as DH was away with work I was v.worried about my DS's waking up and finding me!!

Think I need a padded cell too!
