Anyone done an Access to Medicine Course

Thinking of doing this next year at City College, Norwich or Sussex Downs in Lewes with the hope of getting into med school in Norwich.

Anyone have any experience of either of these programmes or know anyone who does??

Thanks!

Hi,

I did the access to nursing and midwifery course this year and last at Hastings college if that helps at all?

Not much help, I'm afraid, but a former student of mine did something similar. She did a Humanities subject for her first degree, but then admitted that she'd always really wanted to do medicine and her family had put her off, telling her she wasn't clever enough. She went to Cambridge though. She must now be in her third year of the actual medical degree part. I think the conversion bit was hard work, but essential. Can't help more, because I lost touch with her after the first year.

Good luck, though.
