When do you stop having baths with DS's?

I was having a bath with DD (3) the other day and outside the bathroom (and my earshot) DS (8) was whining at DP that he wanted in too. DP said no, he was too old for baths with Mummy now he's 8.

Come to think of it, it probably has been quite a while since I last had a bath with DS, probably before he turned 8.

Is this a 'normal' cut off? Is it the same for boys and girls?

If your comfortable doing it then why not?

Suggest the cut off is when one of you feels it is time and that is up to you and your ds

DS was 5/6 years and we only stopped because he is so tall and there wasn't much room for the 2 of us. I'd be happy continue for as long as he wanted me to otherwise. As long as both of you are comfortable then there is no 'cut off' IMO.
