Help!

My 2y 9m DS is driving me mad. He doesnt stop crying and whining and screaming. All it takes is me to say "DS, please dont do that" and he's off. All he has done today is cry at every little thing, like he has for days and I am going mad.

He has some development issues, but they are relatively minor and I can understand almost all of his speech. He doesnt even attempt to speak though, he just cries and screams like the world has ended just becuase I've asked him to not pull the cat's tail.

How do I get through this? How do I stop it? I honestly got a migraine at 6.30pm tonight from dealing with it all day and its not looking like a happy Christmas if he cries (loudly) every 10 minutes.

I know its attention. I know its a phase. I know its almost like a temper tantrum. But help!!!

Think this is very common - even though didnt get it with DS1. DS2 is a complete nightmare at 20months old.

If he's in the house too long seems to get cabin fever however at nursery 2 days per week is a joy and they cant rave enough at him - very confused!

Probably some fustration here too?

Change of scenery perhaps? To be honest I cant bare to spend every day with him. This is why 2 days at nursery if like fresh air.

DS2 winds me up within a few minutes of waking. I try ignoring which works on a few instances.

Maybe thats why its worse bacon, he's been off nursery this week.

But DS1 was at my mums for 3 days so he's had 1 on 1 attention and still done it.

I think I'm anxious because of Saturday - my stepdad adores the boys, but cant deal with loud screaming and crying (understandably) and I dont want to spend the day on edge. Also because it makes me unhappy that he's so unhappy and crying all the time, and I cant help and then I end up shouting.
