NO you're not the only one, not exactly the same problems as you but I have a nearly 2.6 year old dd and over the last couple of weeks she's really been testing my patience. Her tantrums are worse than ever, she has to do EVERYTHING for herself even things she isn't capable of doing she says "no me do it!!" and if you dare help her she undoes whatever you've done so she can start doing it again grrrr. Also she has to go on the toilet and will not use the potty even if I am using the toilet at that time, she also has developed a fixation with the TV program "How Clean is your house" which I stupidly turned over to one afternoon last week on discovery health and now she demands for the "dirty program" to be put on all the time. I really think it must be an age thing they are trying to assert their independence in whatever way possible even if it is very very wearing for us. I hope it improves soon as i have a baby boy on the way in Nov and if she's still behaving like this its going to be a nightmare!
