not sure i'm doing the right thing, i don't feel happy in my access course, don't like the people i'm doing it with don't like the college and am over whelmed by the course subjects. i think i should go and get some work experience, think i'll get a part time job instead. don't really need to do access course as i have all my fomal education completed years ago. am at a loss as i was really looking forward to doing some grown up stuff. i'm also feeling guilty about putting dd into nursery three days a week.

i'm doing biology and psychology with a smattering of human physiology and health too.
wanted to go on to study something in health care: podiatry, phsiotherapy, occupational therapy, something like that.
i guess i was looking for some direction, some thing solid in my life as things have been shaky in my personal life these past few years , so i thought this would help me decide what to do with my life.
thanks for replying, good luck with your studies sally strawb,

Is it worth persevering for a bit longer? Set yourself a date, eg end of October, by which to make a final decision?

I ask because when I started at Uni I had the same doubts, and nearly jacked it in within the first two weeks, but decided to give it a month, by which time I had discovered some like-minded people on my course and begun to get a feel for the subjects.
