Questions re night nappies - weenotions, flips and bambooty specifically....

I have DD in bumgenius flips with stay dry inserts which I LOVE! Other nappies I tried either leaked (BG v 3s) or needed a fleece liner, which I irrationally hated, and took too long to dry (totsbots easyfit and pop-ins).

I still have DD (she's 8 weeks) in pampers at night as her nappy is on for at least 12 hours overnight and the flip stay drys won't manage that. However, I really hate the pampers and want to get her in cloth. Any advice on the following...?:

  1. I thought I'd try a flip with an organic insert AND a stay dry. Anyone tried this before I go and buy organic inserts? Bulky? Absorbant enough for overnight?
  1. As I say, I really hate fleece liners... do you need one with weenotions night notions or are they fully lined? And are they good?
  1. Same as 2 for bambooty easy nights...
  1. Any other good night nappies not needing a fleece liner (totsbots stretchies ruled out because of this irrational issue for me! Blush)

Merci!

Flips with organic and stay dry are really good at night - I use them sometimes on my dts and they last easily.

We have had some success with WN but they are not my favourite due to the fact they are side snapping and sized. I haven't tried Bambooty nights but have the days and really not very keen in the fit any more as we get wing droop.

I would really recommend that you try a nature babies big softie with a motherease airflow cover at night. I have used these on the dts from birth and still use now with a little extra boosting. They are fully fleece lined and so you don't need an extra liner with them and come apart for washing and drying so dry really quickly.

I've tried all of the above:

Flip with organic and stay dry last DD (10 months) all night but give her a huuuge bum :)

Weenotions nights - again last all night but seem to slide down somehow so she has a builders bum in the morning. You can get them lined with minky which keeps bum dryer

Bambooty easy nights- These are my current favourite, they have a stay dry layer and last all night. The sizing is really quite small tho so if your inbetween sizes best go for the next size up. DD is 9kg and the large (10kg+) is quite low in the rise.

i got mine off ebay and cheeks and cherries :)

I love love love the WeeNotions Night Notion I bought for my LO a few weeks ago. Sizing is smaller than I expected though which is a bit gutting as they aren't cheap. I think they sell on quite well though so I'll definitely be buying a couple more.

Off to google Bambooty easy nights now....

Just thought I'd update on this as i have found the perfect night solution!

DD is now is the flip stay drys during the day and a flip with the organic insert at night. So that there is a stay dry layer next to her skin at night, I put the organic insert into one for these. a weehuggers soaker hugger: www.fill-your-pants.com/inserts-and-boosters/weehuggers-soaker-hugger.html

Fantastic!!!!

Now in cloth full-time - yay!

I have some of these minky liners (girly spotty ones) and DD1 likes to take one to bed to cuddle they are so soft and snuggly. When I first got them she wanted one inside her fleece lined nappy at night just because it was nice. She has now got over this and I use them all the time for DD2. They are much nicer than normal fleece liners Grin
