a nice slender reuseable, I'm used to teddies (major bulk)and coolababy but in this cold weather I need LO in fleece lined jeans (not flaming leggings, due to nappies) and similar warmer clothes and having to resort to dreaded pampers etc.

Any tips

grateful

Tots Bots stretchies are really slim as are their Easyfit all-in-one. Both are fab nappies.

ProcrastinationEatsTime · 08/12/2010 13:18

Bumgenius are super slim

NappyShedSal · 08/12/2010 20:41

Pop'n'Gro pockets are lovely - similar to Bumgenius, but softer and cheaper! The size 1s are almost identical in size to a BG. But the size 2s go loads larger.

bamboo ones, I think it was bambeasy I what ever name they have now.

knuckingfackered · 08/12/2010 20:49

mmmmmmm, ta all but not a bamboo fan (drying!)

will look into the above

the drying is a pain, but a good excuse to buy lots of different types!

elk4baby · 08/12/2010 21:11

Try Tots Bots Flexitots (if you're in 2-part nappies) or EasyFit (AIO). They're also bamboo. However, I find the EasyFit dry very quickly due to their construction.

knuckingfackered · 08/12/2010 21:22

are any of you familiar with coolababy.......cos looking at the various suggestions they look similar in size.

I think I have an unrealistic fantasy nappy in my head!

bambooty are very slim, far slimer than ittis. Not cheap though

I've always found coolababys really slim and used them under lined jeans etc. What are you stuffing in them? Could you go up a size in jeans?

oneortwo · 09/12/2010 11:38

oh just saw that you don't want bamboo so that's bambooty out. Coolababy are probably one of the slimest pocket nappies I've used so its not gonna be the nappy it'll be the stuffing
I'd just go up a jean size then, or layer leggings and flongies?

knuckingfackered · 09/12/2010 20:31

I use coolababy stuffers, tried just one rather than two but that was a stretch of the imagination.
Have bought couple of suggested above and as you say bigger jeans

can i hijack and ask where you buy fleece lined jeans? they sound great!

BG all the way for us - lovely and slim. We've recently started adding a hemp booster as nice and thin but we needed more absorbency. Have never needed to go up a clothes size as ds is really tall anyway - in fact it's only his nappies that keep his trousers up half the time!

knuckingfackered · 13/12/2010 22:15

GAP, or ebay as I do to avoid extortion. Gap are notoriously small anyway

could you try those baby leg warmers instead? No need to get those over a big fluffy bum, should be able to use normal trousers. I think Bespoke Baby Room do them, will have a look.

ziggyf · 14/12/2010 09:32

Nope can't see them on BBR, they have some gorgeous ones at Babybots though - babybots.co.uk/leg_huggers.htm

legallyblond · 14/12/2010 13:27

Re slim nappies - BG Flips are AMAZING and super super slim, even with the organic inserts. I use the stay dry inserts and they easily do 3 hours in the day on my DD... they have gone 4 hours without leaks even.
