the nappy lady let me down

Just some feedback. I contacted the nappy lady for a quote by email as I can't use the website (blocked by my server); she did get back to me by sending an email with a link to the website where (presumably) my advice was. I emailed her to explain I can't access the website and requested the advice as an email but 2 weeks later and 3 emails to her have produced no response. Disappointed at the wasted time.

What would you like to know? If you email me I'll happily give you some recommendations and quotes - should be able to do it within a day. Let me know your preferences, drying facilities etc and I'll let you know what i suggest.

I found them great. My nappies were delivered to the wrong house and she personally delivered a new lot.

I wonder whether it is a technical issue between your system/e-mail address and hers. It does sound very unusual for that company/site.

Have you checked your spam (I'm sure you have, but sometimes I forget. :) )

If you feel let down then perhaps try a different supplier. Or ring the nappylady to clarify?

I emailing her directly, it worked the first time and she responded, then just sent me a link. I emailed 3 times and got nothing back. I will certainly use a different supplier!

nappyshedsal thanks for the offer, but I now have some flat nappies and wraps and I'll wait until baby arrives to get the rest.

I just posted the thread as feedback so someone else can bear it in mind before they rely on the service in a hurry. Fortunately, I was not in a hurry!

I think I am correct in saying that not long ago, the Nappy lady business site was taken over by a new lady who very soon after the takeover gave birth, so is it possible the following e-mails got lost along the way. I am sure she would not ignore you, she has a very good reputation. Do you have facebook access? She has her own page which she regularly contributes to.

Ah interesting - I emailed them yesterday, just with a quick query - and have had no reply. I was surprised as the service has previously been fantastic.

Ariela · 08/12/2010 00:38

I wonder if it's perhaps your internet service that's causing the problem with emails as well as not allowing you to view/interact with their site?

MacMomo · 08/12/2010 14:59

No, no problem with emails, emailing the world with no problem, have previously emailed her successfully. And I did email 3 times subsequently over a 2 week period. There's nothing wrong with my internet service - certain webpages are blocked by the server I used at work if the sites don't have sufficient security features. Email not affected.
