Very stinky overnight girl

DD is almost 4, still in nappies overnight.
And BOY do they WHIFF in the morning.
Half the problem is DH can't be bothered to put on her more than the thinnest terry (he thinks this will encourage her to try to be dry, but it hasn't worked so far!). Even if I could get him to double up the terries, she'd still stink to high heaven first thing.

Is there anything else I could try? Perfume the nappies before she goes to bed?

My dd is 4 and still in night nappies, we use disposables and they whiff in the mornings, too. I don't think it would matter what you did or what nappies you use, 24 hours worth of urine is going to make them honk.

Your dh is sadly mistaken if he thinks that anything is going to encourage her to be dry; if the hormone that suppresses urine production at night hasn't kicked in yet, and if she doesn't wake at night when she needs to wee, there is nothing at all you can do about it.

24 hours? Pah ... I mean 12.

I can count, honestly ...

ds's nappies are less whiffy in the mornings when I use a fleece wrap instead of a PVC one - think it's because they breathe more or something.
