Little girls and big dresses, how do the manage to clean themselves?

DD always wants to wear dresses, the bigger & frillier the better. She will not consider not wearing a dress every day.

But makes it very awkward for her to clean her own bottom after going to toilet (she is almost 4). What do I do to get her self-sufficient on the toilet?

yeah, but she would have to do the pegging, that won't work, will it?

depending on how big the skirt is - is there any way that she can gather it up at the front and then over her shoulder? that's my trick for nightclub toilets and long dresses?

She can gather it in front but then she has to hold all the fabric in front, and use the other hand to balance on an adult size toilet (her legs still too short to reach the floor) so she doesn't have a spare hand to reach to her bottom.

Ds is that age and can't do it himself. Dd is 5 and at home she still prefers me to help out (though she can do it but it's more of a glancing wipe than a proper one!).

I would possibly bargain on helping her out for a bit longer!

(another thing dd does if the dress is very long is tuck it in the neck of the dress IYSWIM)
