Cranial osteopath?

I see people on here talking about taking their baby to a cranial osteopath a lot. What do they actually do? Why do you take your baby to them?

Thanks.

They gently manipulate the bones in the head and ease points where there is stress in my experience.

DS had a problem with the roof of his mouth from birth, was fixed by CA and feeding became easier for us both. DD2 had colic, went after seeing CA

osteopathy is the gentle manipulation of the bones and muscles to relieve symptoms (usually pain)

cranial osteopathy is specifically related to the bones in the head.

I had it as a chidl with great success to relieve me of terrible migraines. I didn't have one for over 2 years where I had been having them at least monthly beforehand

I've also taken 2 of my children to see a cranial osteopath, most recently after a diagnosis of glue ear.
some people are sceptical, all i can say is that my 2.5 year old had about 15 words he used regularly when we first saw the osteopath. his hearing tests showed hearing loss, and a LOT of fluid in the ears

he has had 4 treatments and has started talking in complete sentences. he has new words every single day. his last hearing test showed that his hearing had improved dramatically and the fluid was all but gone....
