What games do your DD's play with their Dads?

Or what did you play with your Dad?

We played 'sinking sands' I sat on my Dad's lap whilst he had his feet up on his foot stool. Very slowly he would widen his legs so I'd fall through the middle.

can't remember any games but when dad took us to bed he always asked us if we wanted a piggy back or a fireman's lift

they like doing puzzles and books together but best of all is "squash daddy" - poor chap comes away bruised

DD plays a lot of running around, jumping, noisy games with DH. Also all the sporty stuff - football, cricket, golf, throwing and catching, etc. And the fighting and tickling games. But they will also have their quieter times - DH nearly always does bathtime 3 or 4 times a week, and he reads to her, and helps with jigsaws, etc.

see how hard she can punch him - then he sits on her and hits her back - lots of screaming etc etc. usually when im watching something on the telly.

or poker.

they play lego mostly, or with the play doh, but its usually a lego tower up to the ceiling which then stays in the sitting room until someone knocks it over, very difficult to hoover around!

my grandad used to do sleeping giants where he would pretend to fall asleep and we had to creep of his knee before he woke up and caught us..lol

Ds tends to use dh as a horse a lot and also if dh happens to lie down ds takes it as a cue to wrestle with him..lol
