bumbles feedback?

Think I have a good chance of a tall baby (DH and i both tall). Have been recommended Bumbles by a friend. Anyone else used them? I'm not in a position to dry the all-in-one type of nappy. Many thanks.

I got some Bumbles previously used on 3 babies, and from age 6 weeks to over a year they were absolutely wonderful. After that the nippas were trying to grip the worn areas so more fiddly but the most absorbent nappy I used.
Unlike everyone else I knew, I never had one leaky poo when I used them.

Ds has a chubby bottom but they worked well on skinny dn too.

thanks notcitrus, I am currently trying to find a couple second hand to try but so far - nothing!

Absorbent nappy. Fairly slow drying. Very bulky.
Not sure that they are still selling them new.

I used bimbles (newborn version of bumbles) with airflows or rikkis to about 12 weeks. We only had poo leaks when we used disposables, and I'm talking about bf poo. They do take a full day to dry, though. We had a stash of 24 and washed every other day.

i use eco bumbles stuffed with prefolds- fab! and much quicker to dry i guess as they pull apart... just an idea!

MacMomo · 06/12/2010 12:50

are eco bumbles the same as just bumbles? Can I ask where you got them from? thanks

i think i bought them direct from easy peasy, they are basically the inner layer of fleece and the outer layer of towelling, but you put something in the middle to make it more absorbant, a bit like a pocket nappy but without the waterproof layer i guess (they were £3 each, and i already had stacks of prefolds) they've worked out really well, i know a few people who use the same combo, and everyone else is happy with them too!
