....got rid of all the plastic plates, cups, beakers, cutlery etc...?

I'm fed up with all this plastic stuff in my kitchen but dd3 is only 3.5 so it may be here for a while!

The kids use plastic cups at meals and plastic plates for lunchtime sandwiches but both dd and ds have used normal dinner plates and metal cutlery for ages now - ds must have been about 2.5/3 years old.

Haha! You are as bad as I am! My DTD's are 5 1/2 and we still have the sodding stuff hanging around. I don't really know why though. In fact, I might just go and chuck it out - they have been having normal plates, bowls etc for aaaaages and never had any issue at all. I also bought them some really nice big girl cutlery metal with spotty handles. The only time they use their plastic bowls is.....well, I don't think they really do! I did get some nice melamime beakers in pink and blue so they can help themselves to water from the fridge, they are made by "rice" I think. GO FOR IT!! CHUCK IT!!
