When do you get your OU course materials etc for courses starting in October?

I haven't heard anything from them yet - is this normal?

mine started in fed, but I've had them anything from 3 mnths to a couple for weeks beforehand. Have you checked online?
Under your student records, you should be able to access approx dispatch dates.

I haven't even had a written confirmation from them yet - I applied for financial support (this was over a month ago now). Am now worrying that they've lost my form! I'll call them

financial support takes a whole to process, adn I'm not sure they always confirm it formally
mine jsut seemed to appear. hope u get it sorted callign them, you should have had soem sort of confirmation of your place by now.

I'm sure there wont be - it really does jut take a while, especially first time round. Have u called yet?
