Teething at 2 months?!

Our little girl has today been really grouchy and irritable and won't settle at all. She's chewing at her hands a lot and has this evening developed a red cheek and red chin. She can't be teething, can she?! She doesn't have a temperature or anything. Can babies teeth that early? I didn't think it happened until later.

DD has been teething on and off since 10 weeks. She's now 6 months & still no sign of the actual pesky tooth though!

My DS was the same. Teething pains at about 13weeks. He's now 7 1/2mo and now teeth! He's drippling everywhere at the mo.

My second daughter started teething on and off at around 3 months and didn't get her first tooth until she was 8 months.

DD started at about 6/7 weeks and we're still waiting for the bugger to show - she'll be 6mo next week!

She's on and off with it, but these last few days she's been terrible - dribble, grumpy, upset tummy and the worst nappy rash I've ever seen. I'll be glad for her when this bit's over. Although if all her teeth treat her like this, we're in for a long slog!

My DD (also 2 months) i showing all the signs, red cheeks, irritable, dribbling, chewing fists etc so i think she must be teething as well. I googled it the other night and basically said it can happen at any time.
