Hi there!

DD is 3 months and as such is only just starting to get into looking at/'playing with' things. We haven't really got her many toys so far as it seemed a bit silly, we have a gym thing and a stuffed toy that she lies on her belly and looks at...but nothing more stimulating than that! With Christmas coming up (she'll be 4 months by then) we want to get her a few bits (rather we know family will want to) that she will enjoy playing with.

Does anyone have any recommendations? I've seen a mobile I'd like for her (music/light projection) for when she goes in to her room at 6 months ish but not sure where to start as there are soooo many choices!

Thanks in advance.

My DD loves this

She's been playing with it for about a month (is 5mo now) and she seems to really enjoy passing it from hand to hand - I think the angles are good. Got it from Smyths toy shop for about £3.

And she LOVES her Sophie le Girafe teether. It's expensive (about £12), but if it's a Christmas gift, maybe not so bad. Great for chewing and squeaking.

Oh, and this chime from mothercare. It's really easy for her to get it to jingle, and attaches to her pushchair, car seat, play gym, cot, basically everything.

My DS loved his Vtech Moosical Cow at 4 months (he still does, he's now 7 months).

Thanks for the ideas so far, will go and have a look! It's lovely now she wants thst bit more interaction, but it is completely new to us so we're a little lost as to where to start!
