I use fairy non bio but for ds's bibs etc I soak them in vanish first and fingers crossed it seems to work!

Wash them before they are worn the first time as stains in brand new clothes are fixed much more easily (something to do with the finishers used in fabrics)

Vanish works well..I use the bar

Oxiclean is good for stains, it got red wine and chocolate out of my wedding dress.

I use oxiclean too. One scoop in the wash or make a solution to treat bad stains first.
