As usual am writing my essay at the last minute, can someone come up with a short and concise definition of social constructivism. The essay is asking are problem behaviours a social construction?

Social constructivism... Have a look on net for Chicago School... Theories that emphasize the way in which the social world is constantly reinvented or produced by individuals rather than being something which simply confronts the individual... Am looking on shelves for something more succinct

You could also look at the Labelling Theory.. pertinent if looking at constructionalism in the context of Deviance
