DD has been savagely chewed by a mozzi last night and is covered in red spots that are swelling up. Can't go to the docs as they are shut, has any one got some advice on what works to stop the itch. Cant be arsed to leave the house so house hold remedies will be good! Ps havent got calamine lotion.

You could also try an ice pack or if you don't have one, a bag of peas or a couple of icecubes wrapped in a teatowel.

Thanks every one, i have bathed her in a bicarb bath and put diluted citronella oil on her to repell the mosquitoes! I hope she doesnt get a fever, she seemed a bit hot today.
