11 Month Old Off Her Food and Not Herself - Just Need to Ride it Out?

Hi All

My 11 month old DD is off her food and has just not been right for about 4-5 days.

She has a slight temp (37 - 37.5, although quite high for her as she is normally about 36), is sleeping ok, but is not as energetic as usual.

She will either refuse to eat her savoury food, or eat it fine then throw up everywhere almost straight away. She will then usually take some fruit puree and/or fromage frais without a problem. She's also not taking as much milk at bedtime.

She also has a cough which has come and gone for months, but is flaring up again. Puking not really cough related.

I originally thought it was her teeth, she is a later teether and has just had the last of her front 4 come through, but I'm not sure now.

I know you're not medical people, but any experiences? I think I will probably just have to ride this one out.

Hmmm, I'd probably take her to the Dr's just to be sure.

Might be teeth, or it might be something to do with the cough...? If it's been around that long she might need some Anti-b's to get shot of it completely.

No harm in getting her checked out.

If DD's feeling poorly, her food intake does drop.

it would probably just pass by itself but worth taking her just to have them have a look @ her and put your mind @ rest?

It could be the cough or just a tummy bug. These things happen with babies, so I've been told.
My 10month old DS has been off his food for last week or so also. Well in himself ish but just not right iykwim.
Took him to dr yesterday and he's got a throat and ear infection. No symptoms whatsoever. Now on antibiotics for a week.

You just never know. I would take her to dr just to be on safe side and get an MOT.

Xx
