DD is a total pain when were out. I do all the shopping and trips out while she is at school because the few times we go out as a family at the weekends, DD can't behave at all. She won't walk next to us, won't come back when we shout her, she runs up and down shops constantly and touches everything. It is so annoying, she is generally good at home but just goes wild when out. We have started putting her on the wrist strap attached to baby DD'S pram. She pulls away constantly and so gets a sore wrist from the strap! She spends the entire trip moaning if she is on the strap, moaning and crying and constantly pulling away. Then pulling to reach for stuff in the shops because she is annoyed that she is on the strap and knows we don't want her to touch.

It is so stressful. I feel sad that i can't take her anywhere. I always see things i want DD to see when im out with baby DD in the day, always thinking of DD1 if we go somewhere interesting. DD1 just seems to ruin every trip out. Then as soon as we get home she is calm and normal again. What can i do? Help!!

I don't know what you can do as DD isn't that age yet but my niece is like that, she's 5 next month. SIL can't get anything done with her in tow, so you're not alone.
