30 oz? Do you mean 3 oz?? It is not that nutritionally good for them.

The AAP (American Assoc. of Pediatricians) suggests that children under 5 should have a maximum of 4 oz of pure juice per day. At 6 months old I'd cut that down to 2 oz/day. Fruit juice is ok in small amounts but it tends to be mostly empty calories.

It's very important you get her back on her formula, solid foods not as important at this age, but formula or breastmilk is vital.

are you diluting the fruit juice? I just gave water and mlk at this age.

You should alway dillute it for such youg children. My 9 months doesnt even know the taste of it but i give my 20 months old ds not as a replacement of milk but just becouse he doesnt like water.

I would only put a splash of fruit juice in a glass of water for any baby .. less than 10% juice.. my DS who is 4.5 still only drinks 50:50

thanks for your answers, i mean 30oz, 3 10oz bottles through the day, its the heinz baby juice which says its already diluted, but i do add water to make it weaker, id say i make the bottles up half and half, iv tried today to offer her milk and water instead of juice, but shes still had 20 oz, shes still refusing milk, but has at least eaten today.

baby juice is a marketing con

if you are going to continue with juice I'd buy regular juice instead and just put 10% in water
