Paint and baby sleeping

We paints our bedroom yesterday on White emulsion, and left all the windows in the house open whilst and for a good few hours afterwards however, when it came to bedtime it still smelt so to be on the safe side, I slept downstairs with our 3 month old.

Does anyone know if the fumes are harmful, gut feeling says not, just not very nice (chance of headaches etc)

also, any ideas when it would be safe for dd to go back in?

Emulsion is fine as it is water based, although I would still air the room well. It's solvent paints that you need to worry about.
