Issy Bear V2 day baby - any good?

Does anyone know if these are any good? Have been seduced by one of the prints, but as they're quite expensive, don't want to waste my money. Dd isn't a particularly heavy wetter, currently using Bumgenius V3 and AIO.

Thanks in advance!

I'm in the process of switching over to Issy Bears. I'll shortly have 11, which has not been good for my bank balance.

I was using BG V3s. However she just undoes the aplix all the time and whips her nappy off.

She's not a massive wetter either and I find the Issy cotton outers work fine for her. Might not work if you did have a heavy wetter. The inserts are amazing - last 4 hours no problem after just one pre-wash. The day and night do last overnight as well. Only downside is that they take ages to dry. But you can use either the day or night in the nappy. The night has more bamboo in it.

What pattern are you after?

Thanks Cupcake. It's the tumble roses I like. They sound good from what you've written. When you say the outers are cotton, does that mean they aren't waterproof at all, like BG? To give you an idea of wetting, after 3 hrs in a V3 the insert is still a little dry. I wouldn't need to use it for night time, as we have bamboozles for that. Am going to The Baby Show at Earls Court, maybe someone will be selling Issy Bears there. If not, think I'll take the plunge and order one!

Hmm that's one of the ones I don't have on from the current C&C selection... I've been trying to go pretty gender neutral in case second child is a boy.

I've just looked at them - they have a waterproof layer and then cotton over top. I know other people don't recommend cotton outers due to the risk of wicking but I've been fine with them. From your description of her peeing patterns, I'm sure you'll be fine. The inserts soak up a lot.

I think C&C will be at the Baby Show so you should be able to pick some up. They're the only distributor of Issy Bears in the UK.

Ooo great, thanks for that, you've been really helpful! I suppose it would be sensible to go gender neutral, but it is very pretty!

oooh they are very pretty! I've not come across them before. I used to buy gender neutral for DD1 but now I have DD2 I'm a sucker for girly prints!
DD2 is a very heavy wetter though Sad

I have a few Issy's in both cotton and minkee. DS has minkee on now with day and nite booster. No leaks.
I really like mine, my friend had problems with leg wicking.
I get mine from Birth 2 potty -Has a FB page too
