Hello there mumsnetters,

I am a mother of 3, 10y/o daughter, 6y/o daughter and 2y/o son...

I have just moved (a good few months ago) to a new area and im struggling...

My problem is the different ages..

There is no children around in the neibourhood for them to play with so I am stuggling at the weekends to find things for them ALL to do..

does anyone have kids with big(ish) age gaps who they can entertain easily that can give me a few tips please??

thankyou :)

I have all those and a 9yo. We can still manage soft play, park, beach, woods. Some craft activities, library, walks in the park/country, cycle rides (2yo is on a seat). Adventure parks, hands-on museums.

Any good?

That said, my 10yo is a sullen stay-at-home type and I often have to leave him behind when I want to go out with the others.

Can't entertain them easily! But painting and stuff like that works; and for a day out a day at the races has something fun for all of them. Ages from 19 (ss) to two.
