HI Happymumof2,
I was just wondering if you had any luck with your relative regarding the foster review board panel? And the things that come up?
Had a really good visit with baby last week. She was really clingy and huggy and then we were able to take her and dd outside. (Dh was there too). The supervisor woman was quite a way off and it just felt like we'd taken the kids to the park. Parting with her after was so hard. I've gotton books from the library and phoned a fostering agency to get sent some information. I'm also talking to as many people as I can with numerous small children!!! The mum has now had a letter from her solicitor saying that the recommendation is for the baby not to return to her.

Yes I couldn't be a social worker. People only seem to care when you get it wrong. The ones I've met seem to be caring, hardworking people who deserve a lot more praise. What a hard job.

Thanks Happymumof2 !!! That's really helpful. Please pass on my thanks to your realtive too. It's so good to hear that an independent person who has some knowledge in this area is not dismissing us. We know that we can do right by this little girl and that we can work with ss to acheive the best for her.
