Last night DH and I agreed we want to attend a parenting course. We both feel we are quick to get angry and lose our tempers, and a couple of times DH has smacked DS1 on the bum which upsets me. We're worn out and we sometimes argue in front of them about how to deal with the way the kids are behaving.

I've been looking at the courses and workshops run by the Parent Practice which seem good but no testimonials on the web site. Does anybody know if they are good? Or can you recommend a course please?

The children are 4 and 2 so could we access a course through Surestart?

Thanks!

Hi if you have a surestart near you they may do the parenting puzzle which is a very good course.

thanks Foxy that sounds like a good place to start.

I have done it and it was something like 10 weeks but so worth while.
