sorry for posting here but not sure where else to!!!

Ordered flowers for a friends Dad's funeral, turned up at funeral yesterday and they were awful. Not as I would of expected, very disappointed.

What should I do

If they were ruined take a photo of them and e-mail the florist with the photo attached. I had a terrible bunch delivered once and the delivery guy didn't even knock on the door. He went round the back door and left them there hoping I wouldn't be in and not see. He obviously didn't want the hassle of dealing with ruined flowers. Got a new bunch delivered but was offered a refund as well.

Sorry for your friend's loss. You might get a better response in '_chat'. That's terrible though, funeral flowers should be perfect every time, it's not like they can be replaced after the event.

I would speak to the florists and ask for a refund on the flowers as they were not fit for purpose, and a replacement at this stage wouldn't be appropriate. If they provided an illustration of what you believed you had purchased then refer to this, and ideally a photograph of the flowers they actually provided (although I appreciated that procuring a photograph of flowers at a funeral would be quite innapropriate).

I've had flowers replaced without problem before but obviously it's a bit late for that now. So push for the refund!
