Pretty in pink

So TK Maxx were selling two half price grobags (size 6m to 18m). One was blue and one was pink. Well, we bought the blue one for DS but not the pink. But I'm thinking that he's only going to wear it in bed so who cares if its technically designed for girls. And what's wrong with a boy wearing pink anyway? Obviously DS won't care one way or the other now (he's only 4 months), but will he fussed when he's 18 months?

Anyone else dress their baby boys in pink / girls in blue?

DP came back from one of the shopping outlets with a blue Nike coat for dd. She wore it for ages, and no-one batted an eyelid.

My dd (3) now wears more blue than anything else as it is her favourite colour.

DD had a blue grobag - it was a present and it was lovely! I'm not sure if its more acceptable to dress a girlie in blue one than a boy in pink though...

I have a long sleeved top for about 3 year olds which my ds1 wore and it is a sort of purply pink - maybe a claret colour. Also, when he was a baby (and ds2 and ds3 as well) he wore a lovely yellow babygrow with tiny pink flowers on it and some pink embroidery round the collar. I bought it before I knew I was having a boy but it never occurred to me it was too girlish to put him in. Reading my description, it does sound a bit too girly though!

Dd wouldn't be seen dead in blue! Everything has to be pink for her!

My girl wears blue but wouldn't put ds in pink.

When dd was a baby, she was wearing a pair of pink sparkly trousers. An old man still said 'oh what a lovely little boy' .
