Baby Dan fireguards?

We've just moved house and there's a wood burning stove. It's also freezing so I'm anxious to light it soon. We've also got a very mobile and curious 13 month DD so I'm a bit nervous. What are the best fireguards? I've had a look at the baby dan one, but is it really big? The room's not that big so don't want it to dominate (although obviously I'd choose safety over aesthetics!). Any others that are good?
TIA

We have a mothercare extendable one - does the job but you can vary the size a bit. it is a bit big but if you've got a hearth with sharp edges it saves a few head bumps. can keep the coal/logs inside it then too.

Another vote for an extendable fire guard, we got one here
