Little man is not completely sleeping through but going for longer and longer stretches Smile but the BG v3 aren't keeping up with him Sad.

I am too skint loathed to get a whole new 2 part system but wondering if anyone has any joy with any particular bamboo / hemp boosters and BG nappies that they could recommend.

TIA!

I have used 2 of the long inserts overnight. Is he tiny?

I started using BG v3 with my DS when he was approx 12 wks old and although they were very absorbent it was only when I got the fit right on him(he is long and slim) that they didn't leak. I found this advice very helpful.

My DS is now 21 weeks and it's only since his legs have filled out a bit I have found that I can use BG through the night- with an added bamboo booster to the two provided. I think mine are Tots Bots and very effective, but Easy Peasy are apparently meant to do very good/best boosters.

I have had the same problem with BG overnight and have tried these Easy Peasy hemp www.babykind.co.uk/boostersandliners.htm#hempjersy boosters which will last around 8-10 hours with the big insert on top of it. Tried the big and small inserts together and that didn't work overnight (haven't tried with both the big and small inserts and hemp). It does seem to depend on the particular night - some nights there are no leaks with this booster and some there is a little bit around the legs on the edge of vest/babygro.

Having more luck with a tots bots bamboozle stretch and motherease airflow wrap - these last 13 hours overnight no leaks at all.

argh, why didn't I check back on this earlier today for the extra link?!

anyway have just ordered bamboo boosters, won't hurt to try them, maybe will try hemp next if we need to. Will report back.

Thank you everyone!

Bumgenius v3s don't get close to doing DD2 overnight Sad. I had run out of my heavily stuffed wonderoos so put her in a BG last night. She woke at 5am saturated. Wet nappy, wet vest, wet babygro, wet sleeping bag, wet sheet in the cot.
I use the big insert and a bamboo insert for daytime which works fine. I don't think you will have wasted any money by buying the bamboo boosters 4thtime

Bamboo didn't do the overnight trick, handy extra liners but that's about it.

DS is just coming up to 10 months so think I need to get something more heavy duty - am going to investigate 2nd hand 2part systems me thinks.

should have said (in case anyone else needs the help) - I used a bamboo and the large BG liner together. I tried 2 large BG liners to no avail too.

I've been experimenting with night time solutions and bought 4 Tots Bots Bamboozles (I think they have been discontinued as they introduced the Bamboozle stretchy) anyway these were pre-loved from Cloth Nappy Tree. I use them boosted with one microfibre booster, they have an inbuilt bamboo flap and then I put a fleece liner on the top and cover with a Motherease Rikki wrap. So far this has worked every night and DD2 (7m) is still feeding a lot in the night. I am really pleased as I was struggling with night time solutions.
I think 4 is a good number as they do take a long time to dry, but one wrap is enough as I use pockets in the day time.

I use Little Lambs bamboo boosters in my BGs for my 11 month dd over night, no problems to report.

Ella's House hemp boosters (hour glass shaped, so work well even with smaller babies) all the way here...

I know there are a few BG v3 users among you - finally cracked it (avoiding more expense on 2 part system) - long liner, bamboo liner and at least one short liner. Although on hols last week, cheated and used disposables at night half the time.
