Online games for toddlers

Does anyone have any recommendations for online games (of the type found on the CBeebies website) for a 3 year old?

Of course, you're welcome to post that you think video games are bad for toddlers, but I'll just ignore it! Grin

Try here and here - firm favourites with my 3-year-old.

You're brave - the idea of letting my 3yo loose on the computer fills me with horror.

I depend on online games when I have to cut my son's hair. I use the fisher price website but he is bored of that so will use the suggestions thebronzehorseman says

all the ones on www.kneebouncers.com/ require just puching a button to get the 'game' moving on, might be a bit young for a 3 year old, not sure. It's a big treat for DS. He likes the car, truck and train ones

*pushing. or indeed, pressing.

poissonrouge dd loved this since she was quite small a lot of the games/ activities the child can discover and explore independently, not dependent on instructions iyswim

choochoogames.com is one which my 3 year old enjoys - games for 2-4 yrs old.

We also have KidOz on our computer - it's a child friendly web browser which presents a lot of children's web sites (including games). You can download a free version from kidoz.net

www.playhousedisney.co.uk keeps my 3 year old happy while i potter in next room. she is able to negotiate site and find the games she likes - mickey mouse, pooh bear, handy manny etc. a lot are quite educational too - counting, shapes etc.

Another vote for Poissonrouge. It is amazing!

Also the Lego website has various games.

I've had this bookmarked on to my laptop for a while. I've not tried them all though. My daughter likes the Peekuboo site listed on there (shes 22 months) but it may be a bit young for a 3 year old.

Here's a new website that might interest everyone in this thread. www.fungooms.com has lots of very simple and relaxing mouse only games
