Has anyone seen one in the flesh yet? Looks interesting.

Look here .

Really like the sound of it . Best go and hide the credit card then .

a bamboo nappy? Whatever next! Would be tempted though if DD was still in nappies!

evansmummy · 09/09/2005 10:06

They have another new one too called a fluffle made of synthetic micro-terry fabric, apparently. Can't do links but I'll try hang on

evansmummy · 09/09/2005 10:07

can't believe that worked. I'm well chuffed with myself

misdee · 09/09/2005 10:17

got one of each. the bamboo one is lovely and silky soft and very slim fitting. the fluffle one still catches onm your skin like other microfibre, tho not as much. both are being washed as we speak so i an use them soon.

flamesparrow · 09/09/2005 10:17

I wanna have a little baby to use em on!

Bagpuss30 · 09/09/2005 10:24

Can't believe that fluffle one - I have just bought some bumbles this week - If I'd seen those first I would have tried one!

Let us know what they are like misdee so I can have an excuse to spend dh's hard earned cash .

the fluffle one - only seen multi packs on the totsbots website - anyone else have any good mutlipack sites for the fluffle? that's the one we're finally agreein on.

misdee - what are they like?

flamesparrow · 10/09/2005 23:12

I worked one day last week, and DH has agreed that I can buy nappies with the money

Its sad... his spare cash goes to Xbox 360... mine is going to feed my nappy obsession

NoodleDoodle · 11/09/2005 10:27

I have been using the standard totsbots since ds was born (he is nearly 3 months now). Just bought some fluffles. IMO they are not as absorbent as the standard totsbots but they do dry much quicker. So I will use the fluffles I have bought for the daytime but continue with standard totsbots for night time. I guess it will depend on how much your lo pees and how easy it is for you to dry nappies as to which ones suit you.

RosiePosie · 11/09/2005 16:56

Munz, I can't do links ( well I probably could if I tried hard enough, lol! ) - I just bought my new bamboozles from www.thenaturalbabyresource.com - they do multipacks of bamboozles and fluffles, and I think they have a special offer on them at the moment. However, you will probably have to wait for your order, as apparently tots have sold in a week, what they thought would take 2 months to sell - so everywhere is running low on stocks. Maebh who owns that site is lovely and friendly.

munz · 11/09/2005 18:24

thanks RP - I wanted to try and buy them this month - am buying one big thing and a few little bits each month otherwise we're never gonna mange it, thankfully we've got the pram and cot covered (well def pram) so that's the 'big' stuff and nappies.

RosiePosie · 11/09/2005 18:35

Maebh at naturalbabyresource will definately take your order now, but you might just have to wait for the new stock to arrive - plenty of time though, ay? That's why I've bought mine now - spreading the cost! She's doing a deal with 15 nappies and 4 wraps for £150 with 10% off until the 19th September. Free postage too!

pootlepod · 11/09/2005 19:22

I have just got a bamboozle nappy. It is very soft and I have prewashed it-still very soft! It seemed to take as long as a rainbow tots to dry- needs good air circulation. DD will be trying it on tomorrow so I'll let you know how it goes- they are thinner but are supposed to be just as absorbant.

munz · 11/09/2005 21:14

thanks RP - will email her - that's cheaper than the tots bots site.

poppy101 · 11/09/2005 21:18

I have ordered one of each new kind tots. Wanted to try them out, I like tots, but want to use something lighter in the winter months that I can throw on the airer and had hoped that these new tots might dry quicker, apparently they can dry in 3 hours in a cold room ??? Don't know if this is true, but will try. Does anyone know if this is right or not ??

misdee · 11/09/2005 21:19

wel lthey held up well. very impressed. didnt use the booster in the fluffle and no leaks. i like the liner on the fluffle, but love the silkiness of the bamboozle.

munz · 11/09/2005 22:23

sorry girls, dumb question, about to email the lady now for this deal - I want the aplex ones (where u don't need the 3 way things - is this the same as the poppers?) I know dumb question, but I don't fancy those 3 way thingys.

misdee · 12/09/2005 07:37

munz, they are only available as nippa style atm.

munz · 12/09/2005 07:39

so I've jsut read on another thread - althou the nappy lady RP talks about is advertising the popper ones already - ooh that might well be why when I tried to paypal it it didn't give me the discount? - ooh how hard are nippers to use? (althou really not keep on them and DH doesn't like the look)

munz · 12/09/2005 07:39

got u're bits by the way, they're lovely thanks - did u want the extra for postage?

misdee · 12/09/2005 07:42

no worries about extra, just pop some coins in a charity box, that'll do.

popper ones coming soon, but how soon is soon? nippas are very easy to use, and makes using size 2 tots as a smaller nappy very easy. if you go to the tots site and look at the demo videos, you can see how to use them.

munz · 12/09/2005 07:44

well that might well be worth a look then - could u get away with buying size 2's from the off instead of the size 1's? (althou would they be bulky for a new born?) of to investigate.

(will drop some more in the charity box for you)

misdee · 12/09/2005 07:49

for newborn i'd go for the new bambooxle, its avery slim compared to the fluffles. they do give a big bummed look, but they really are great nappies. as iam selling all my baby stuff after dd3 has grown out of it, if peter decides that we are having another, then i would buy bamboozles next time.

munz · 12/09/2005 07:50

ok thanks will have a shuffy again - are those the silkyier of the two? does it matter they're the polyester as opposed to cotton? (obviously apart from the drying times)
