tea tree oil and monketfoot wetbags

Can you put a couple of drops of tea tree or lavender oil in monketfoot bags or will that ruin the inner liner bit?

I'm having a problem with the smell of my X-larges, which I use instead of a bucket. My DD has rank toddler teething pee at the moment and the smell from the bags can be eye watering at times.

Thanks

Umm that would be monkeyfoot, not the little known monketfoot bags.

do you use washable wipes? How about dropping a few drops on a washable wipe or old bit of tee-shirt/rag or something so that the essential oil wasn't sitting right against the PUL lining but the aroma would still waft around?

Thanks SGP, could give that a go and see if it works. Anything to get rid of the whiffy smell.
