Jasper wakes around 6/7am, has a quick feed and then we have a cuddle, go downstairs and get him ready for the day. sometimes i have a play with him if he is still really awake and put him in his jungle gym
Then he usually naps for a short while, maybe 40mins and has another longer feed - often after this he is tired so goes down for a nap again
we often go out then, he is in the sling asleep and i go out to meet friends in town or have coffee or whatever, he loves the sling so that is all good
then in the afternoon we have another long sleep and a bit of playtime, generally just until he gets grumbly and then i put him down in his chair for some chill time - i also play him the guitar and sing to him throughout the day, usually when he is in his chair looking at me
but at night, he gets really grumbly at around 5.30 (just when daddy gets home) and becomes impossible to settle, i feed him for anything up to 2 hours in the evening, he just has a good long feed and we change him when hes dopey enough for it not to upset him but awake enough for it not to wake him up, then more food and then he is just a grumble bum until we take him up to bed, usually around 9.30/10pm
thing is, he goes down like a light as soon as we take him upstairs so i would like to start taking him up at a set time, perhaps after having some play in the evening, and settling him up there so he is not all grumbly and over tired in the evenings
he sleeps ALOT though, most of the time he is just asleep but now he is spending more time awake i am wondering if we have the sleep/play/eat cycles down okay...
