Aargh. Need to buy blackout blind as blackout curtain liners don't trap all the light. Argos and Mothercare have them but not in the right width for window. Anyone else sell them?

i also got mine from argos and you can cut them to size! I did this and it was VERY easy to do!

We couldn't get one to fit and just got a bit of black out cloth from fabric shop - pinned it over the window as a short term measure and it's still there 4 years later ...

we got ours from B&Q - very cheap

Whizzz · 04/09/2005 20:22

You can always buy the material that you fit to the curtains ?

Whizzz · 04/09/2005 20:22

Oops just noticed your comment that they don't work - sorry !

Xena · 04/09/2005 20:22

Zippy... Us too!! But it works well IMO as it COMPLETLY blocks out the light. We have put up some sticky velcro now so we can take it down

roosmum · 04/09/2005 20:25

good range & abt as cheap as argos i think.

We bought a some blackout material from a curtain shop and velcro'd it to the window frame (stapled the velcro on to the material, complete bodge job!). It does work though, no light gets in at all.

I know I've got to stop recommending IKEA stuff, but I see it every week and so it's always the first thing that comes to mind...

Tupplur are pretty cheap, are black out blinds and can be cut to fit really easily (hacksaw and a pair of scissors)
