Tesco Extra Large Nappies.............grrrrr

I'm about to write to Tesco to complain, but want to make sure it's not just a shortage round here . Basically they no longer seem to stock the Extra Large (size 6) nappies. They haven't had them in our local Tesco for over 1 month now, and I've not seen them online either.

A call round the local Tescos (within a 15 mile radius) revelaed none of them had them in either.

Their pull-ups only go up to a size 5 - so we've had to change over to Pampers which are £2 more expensive.

Have any other Tesco nappies users found a lack of these or is it just us???

Yep. They don't do Pampers wipes and disposable mats and all sorts that I would like to buy round here. Blooming useless.

We don't have them in our Tesco either.

Have you tried Morrison's nappies? They are proving really good with my heavy-wetter ds. They are a bit like Huggies, but I actually find them better, and they are cheaper than Tesco's I think.

Boots nappies are good and they do an extra large size I think.

Yep just looked, they are £4.47 for 24.

Tried Morrisons they leak at night.

I don't want to have to change to Boots (partly because we order online and it's just easier - and more convinient to get them with the rest of my shopping). I don't really want to have to trek into town once a week to buy my nappies when Tesco should be stocking them (they're the biggest size they have so surely they must be a good seller - toddler up to toilet training??) and also Boots nappies are about 80p more expensive than Tesco too

Boots used to deliver too though.

QueenOfQuotes · 03/09/2005 22:44

I know they deliver - but it's £3.50 delivery for orders under £40 - and that would make them very expensive nappies LOL.

MummyToToby · 20/03/2006 22:28

those who used morrisons were they the cheaper tendercare type or the other type they do.and also has anyone used the (material not plastic) superdrug and somerfield ones as i don't know anyone who has tried any of these and i want to know if anyone has has problems of leaking?

Hi I don't know if this is the same for Tesco nappies but I buy Tesco fragrance free wipes and they didn't have them in stock for ages until last week in new packaging. Maybe they are changing their products/packaging.
