Im on my own with 4 wonderful children, and i never have any problems coping on my own, but my youngest dd2 is 7months and has kindly slept through the night for me about 4 times, mostly she just wakes around 2am and then again at 5am (ish) and then she wakes for the day at around 7/7.30am - this is ok, id like for her to go longer, but i can cope with this, BUT the last 3 nights she has gone to bed as usual at 7pm, usual routine nothing has changed, and she has woke around an hour later and yelled her head off, i feed, wind, cuddle etc, she settles, 10 maybe 20 mins later she starts again, burps, wriggles, squeels, breaks wind, slowly calms down, 10/20 mins later she starts again etc etc. ALL night non stop! Im absolutley shattered, ive tried everything, all the usual 'tricks' ive dosed her up with gripe water, calpol etc in case its a teething thing - not working Sad im becoming a frazzled, grumpy wreck, HELP!! (if you can) xx

Oh dear - is there any chance she could have an ear infection? I had about three nights with DD1 when she spent all night waking up - I'd pick her up, she'd calm down (as the pressure on her ear would be relieved.) I'd put her down and it would start again. It was only when she started with a temperature after 2-3 nights of this that I realised she wasn't well. Sorry, can't think of much else.

I think you need to visit the GP. Don't try and struggle through. At least then you will know if there is nothing wrong.
