My DS is so upset now DD has started school. Advice please?!?

My dd is 4 and started primary school 2 weeks ago and everyday since my ds has cried for her to come home!! My ds will be 2 in a few weeks and just adores his big sis. Ive tried taking him to the park and playing and reading( which i used to do anyways!) But he doesnt want to know. He just cries for his sister from the moment we walk out the playground to when we pick her up. Any ideas on what to do? They never fight and just love each other. Im stuck!! xx

What about baking cakes for big sis while she is at school, he could choose one to take to her when you pick her up? Or painting pictures for her? Get a box and some play people and make a pretend shool, give him an idea of what she is up to?

Maybe silly suggestions but I couldn't leave your post unanswered! I have a 4 yr old ds and a 15 month dd. He starts school next year and she adores him so might be in the same position! She misses him now when he does his full day of pre school (just once a week otherwise half days) but is too young to articulate it.

How lovely yours are so close, I am sure he will get used to it but it must be tough for you both. Good Luck!
