BF poo stain remover for cloudy days?

Have been using ImseVimse contour one size nappies for a good 4 weeks now (since she filled out enough for them to fit OK-ish)
In that time I have learned that the best thing for getting BF poo stains out is the sunshine.
Have settled for washing them with Ecoballs at 60 as nothing seems to matter apart from the weather.
So... what should the plan be for the future less sunny months???

Also.. I soak in Bio D nappy stuff, should I add it to the washing machine too or will the balls and 60 do the trick?

I left mine out first time by accident in the rain and it took all stains out. I do that everytime its not sunny now and it works a treat.

Dont know about the balls as ive never used them but sometimes i add a small amount of ariel stain remover to the wash and make sure i rinse really well.

Rain does it too?! Wow!
My grandmother has also recommended frost...

I find the stains come out even on cloudy days :) putting them on an airer inside next to a window also seems to work
