Reusables on 3rd DC

Hi all, just about to have my 4th baby and she will be the third one in reusables.

I've just done a nappy audit (ha ha)as DS3 has been out of reusables for 6 months now. Anyhoo, all of my motherease wraps have a lingering smell of wee and some of my tots bots fluffles.

Question is, is there a way to get the lingering wee smell out or is use by two boys over 4 years just too much for them and I should get new ones? I need some new ones anyway as this is a girl after three boys so am thinking about some more bumgenius and blueberry (just the one cos thy're £££). I was also thinking about the Tots Bots all in one pocket nappy - anyone got a view on those?

Thanks.

I've not used wraps so don't know about the lingering wee smell. Vinegar maybe to cut through the ammonia smell?

I love my bumgenius. I'm using v3s and there are still some good deals out there on discounted stock as they have introduced the v4 now and I love my new totsbot easyfit v2 - I think that is what you are referring to. It's got a pocket that you can boost but it's got the soaker stitched in. (but flaps out for drying) The new totsbot fabric (outer) is so soft compared to the old stuff and I particularly like the girls prints. I've got the cherrylicious Grin

Yes yes yes, the easyfit v2 and I love the cherrylicious print.

Yes my cherrylicious is first choice out the stash now, especially if DD2 has a summer dress on and someone can see it Grin
I've only had it a couple of weeks but I'm pretty pleased with it.
It is slim fitting so good under trousers too but then no one can see it!

Try giveing them a wash with vinegar to see if you can get smells out, try a few hot washes too to make sure.

I love my bumgenius for DD havnt tried the new V2 but i have an easyfit fluffle which is terrible for leaking and never lasts more than an hour, but the new ones maybe better :)

Thanks. Will get the vinegar out. The wraps are mainly medium and large so I've treated myself dd to some new xs and s rikki wraps and a couple of tot bots cherrylicious teenyfits/easyfits and a couple more bumgenius and itti bittis. Blush.

Well, I've saved so much on disposables with the boys that some new non-weed nappies were needed.
