Never tried one. Would it help with the stinky nappy first thing in the morning?

I have 2 fleece wraps but always choose the motherease over them and use the fleece as a last resort.

They look lovely and comfy but as the wick the moisture away from the skin I'm always waking up to a toddler in soaking wet pj's and bedding.

Hmm, not so good lisa. What's the point then?

Lol. No not a Lisa.

I was told they where good in the summer as they let the air circulate allowing the skin to breath and even though ds did have a dry bum having to change the sheets and pj's every morning kinda defeated the object.

I just use a fleece liner in the nappy which keeps his skin dry but with the airflow wrap the sheets stay dry too!

i use a fleece wrap with ds now. i used the tots bots one when he was small with totsbots bamboo nappies and that was fine while he was smaller and then it started leaking!

i don't think the nappies were absorbant enough at that stage as it stopped when i changed nappies and started using a bigger wrap.

i now use the minki huggle nappies with the minki wrap-he's 29 months now and i was washing his bedding every morning. he stays dry as long as i use this with 2 boosters! if i use other nappies and they reach the top it leaks again.

another fleece wrap that was good was from bebesnuggles. i find they help when ds has nappy rash too. i use them at night it has mostly gone in the morning. i think it a combination of the fleece against the skin and the fleece wrap.

:)

Fleece wraps are lovely! But not all fleece is as lovely. The really nice ones tend to be made of a good quality fleece like Malden Mills - Sugar Peas. But I'd take cheaper fleece like Pumpkin Pants over PUL any day.

With fleece you don't get a sopping, steaming nappy in the morning. It does get smelly and you need to wash it after each use but on the up side, it is almost dry when it comes out of the machine and can take a real hammering.

Wool is similar, nicer in my opinion, and not nearly as smelly. Doesn't need to be washed often but does need to be treated with some respect, wool-washed, lanolised...

Ooh, fleece can get really smelly but we've had no problems with leaks overnight when using fleece. I use bebesnuggles and pumpkin pants soakers and shorties and love them. I've also got a totsbots fleece wrap that I use when the others are in the wash and it works fine. Definitely nicer than a PUL wrap for overnight, they always leave my boy with horrid red marks Sad
