Anyone with experience of Wee Notions?

Can anyone tell me how thick they are? Do they dry fast? Are they a good night nappy?

I'm currently using Bumbles and Tots size 2 at night and having to boost like mad - I also find the Tots difficult to wash and dry (they seem to get really bad residue buildup, which doesn't happen with my other nappies). I've been boosting with microfibre which is v impressive stuff and fleece wrap.

So to summarise, I need fast dry, v absorbant, with a fleece liner (not much to ask???). Advice and opinions gratefully received, oh and as my son is nearly 20 mths old, is the wee wonder bigger too? I don't want to shell out for a new nappy only to have him outgrow it in 3 mths.

Mia

Have never used the nappies, but can highly recommend the clothing, especially the bespoke custom-made dungarees etc. Fast and friendly service made to your specs and wonderfully good value.

I use weenotions at night. I don't find them really fast driers, but they don't get hard and scratchy like tots. I stuff mine with a prefold and use a n airflow wrap. Never had any leaks.

I think large size is 20-40lbs. They are quite adjustable as they have buttons and pressstuds, plus you can adjust the leg elastic for thin or chunky thighs. HTH

Or a bearbehinds - cool designs & you can stuff them with just about anything (e. outgrown nappies - we use an Imse in them at night, a bit bulky but seems to work well).

Ours are x-large which are pretty generous - ds is 1 year old & wears clothes for 3 year olds, & they fit fine - so they should be OK for your ds.

It's www.bearbehinds.com (can't seem to do links today!)

Are the stuffies more absorbant than bumbles? I don't want to use a pocket nappy at night as there's not the evaporation you get with fleece.

It sounds good that you can get a prefold in one - I could use my hemp inserts if needs be.

Many thanks, M

vkone, I find Minkies stuffed with prefolds great at night. Better than tots with a booster. I don't find the slinky Minki as good as the full-size Minki. ragbags are also doing Jam tots hemp inserts which look great tho I haven't tried them.
